After watching the trailer and the movie, the first question that rose up was “Why are things like this still happening?”. Not really a must watch.How is it possible that in today’s international cargo ships are not secured with anything more than water hoses? Beats me.

Anyway, the movie itself is pretty watchable and not a classic “cavalry is coming” type of scenario. Tom Hanks was good, really good, solid as always. However, Barkhad Abdi who portrayed Muse, pirate leader, was matching his performance by creating really powerful and believable character. It would be nice to see what are his roles down the line, typecast can become sort of a problem and there are so much Somali bad guys.
